A Premier Multidisciplinary Operations Program at the University of Michigan
The Tauber Institute is a joint venture between the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the College of Engineering, working together with a wide range of industry partners to facilitate cross-disciplinary education in global operations management.
In 2012, the Institute was awarded the first UPS George D. Smith Prize for effective and innovative preparation of students to be good practitioners of operations research, management science, or analytics.
For more than 25 years the Tauber Institute has impacted operations worldwide. Elements of its program include the LeadershipAdvantage program, facility tours, and team projects where students work on substantive issues to earn or save sponsoring companies millions of dollars from the team project results.
