Marco Simoes-Coelho researches, publishes, and teaches on ESG and Corporate Sustainability. He holds a PhD from the COPPEAD Institute/UFRJ, Brazil; an MBA from the Daniels College of Business/University of Denver, USA; and a BA in journalism from UFMG, Brazil. Marco also manages the sustainable investments company MSDpar, based in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil and Miami/USA, and serves on boards such as the UN-SDSN, the Washington DC-based Amazon Conservation Center, and the Akatu Institute for sustainable consumption in Sao Paulo. Until 2015, he was a Vice-President at The Coca-Cola Company. Previously, Marco Simoes worked for the Abril Group of communications and the consulting firm Accenture.
