Ariane Roder Figueira has a PhD and Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (USP). She is an Associate Professor at the Coppead Business School at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where she coordinates the Center for Studies in International Business. She is a scientific research advisor at master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral levels in the areas of international business, public management, sustainability, and smart cities. She has publsihed many papers in international journals and is the author of the books Introduction to Foreign Policy Analysis and International Business: Brazilian Perspectives. Ariane works in university management as a member of the International Relations Council, the Innovation Committee, and the Technical Chamber of Research Ethics. Between 2019-2023, she served as Research Superintendent at the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
