Ahmmad Brown is an assistant professor of instruction at Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy, where he teaches in the Masters and Executive Learning and Organizational Change programs and is the faculty lead for the Leading Equity and Inclusion in Organizations Certificate program. His research focuses on organizational inequality and the experiences of minoritized people in organizations. As a principal advisor at the consultancy Working IDEAL, Ahmmad works with organizations and leaders across sectors on equity- and inclusion-focused change strategy development and implementation. He previously founded Based Dialogue for Inclusion, LLC (EBDI), where he delivered advisory services to leaders of mission-driven and social impact-focused organizations. He has also worked as a social sector consultant and in college admissions.
Ahmmad holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University and an MBA and MA in Education from Stanford University.
