Dr. Thomas Joseph is an associate professor in the area of business policy and strategy at the Indian Institute of Management – Udaipur. His areas of research, teaching and consulting include strategy formulation, strategy execution, performance management, and international business strategy. He is an electrical engineer and also a Fellow (Ph.D.) of the Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore in the area of corporate strategy and policy. Prior to his current role, Dr. Thomas was a full-time practitioner heading the global strategy department of UAE Exchange, Abu Dhabi. He was also an adjunct faculty of business and management at the University of Wollongong in Dubai. Prior to that, he worked with Indian Petrochemicals (IPCL), Apollo Tyres Ltd and Binani Zinc Ltd. He is a member of a number of management associations. He has published articles in American Economic Journal-Applied Economics, South Asian Journal of Management, and International Journal of Selection and Assessment. Currently, he is a member of the Kerala State Innovation Council.
