Noel Watson is founder of OPS MEND, a research consulting firm focused on supply chain operations for organizations in the private and public sectors. The firm works with organizations to create and execute tailored knowledge- and capability-generating programs focused on their unique supply chain issues. One of the company’s areas of expertise is supply chain issues characterizing healthcare delivery in developing countries. Prior to founding OPS MEND, Dr. Watson led the Global Health Supply Chain Research group at the MIT- Zaragoza Logistics Program at the Zaragoza Logistics Center, Spain. The group generated applied research and support for the strategic design and operational management of healthcare supply chains that serve developing countries. Prior to joining MIT-Zaragoza Logistics Program, Dr. Watson had spent 7 years as an Asst. Professor at the Harvard Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. Dr. Watson was born and raised in Jamaica until he left to attend college in the USA for an undergraduate degree in Mathematics. He now lives in the USA with his wife and two sons.
