Prof Soni Jha is an interdisciplinary researcher at the intersection of Strategic Management (SGM) and International Business (IB). Her research uses social network analyses and network theories to investigate questions related to investment networks, board networks, and interfirm networks.
Before entering academia, Prof Jha worked across various industries, including chemicals (sustainable polymers), commodities trading (agricultural products – CME), and social impact bonds. She also consulted extensively for auto-component manufacturers in India and contributed to India’s 30/30 Industrial Policy.
She has a PhD from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, an MS in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvani’a Smeal College of Business, and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India.
