Erin Kirton graduated from Duke University in 2024 with an MBA from the Fuqua School of Businessand an MEM from the Nicholas School of the Environment. She is working in climate tech venture capital with an emphasis on early-stage hardware companies that can decarbonize and derisk the energy, built environment, and industrial & manufacturing sectors. Prior to graduate school, she worked in renewable energy development, first as a wind energy engineer and later as a utility-scale battery energy storage developer. She has degrees in Environmental Engineering and Integrated Science from Northwestern University.
