Description

The Sampaloc Talisay Producers Cooperative, formed in 2006, is a local cooperative that allows local producers to process milkfish to sell in the local economy. The case study walks students through the STPC operation and details what is needed to process milkfish. STPC has utilized a significant amount of government assistance to create its operation but must now become more self-sufficient, as well as demonstrate how it benefits its members. Students are asked how STPC can accomplish these goals.
