Edita Aguinaldo-Dacuycuy is a dragon fruit grower in Ilocos Norte, Philippines and has been slowly increasing capacity throughout the years. As her plantation has grown, she forged partnerships with other growers in the area, eventually forming a cooperative known as the Kailukuan Saniata Cooperative. Recently, she was approached by a group of international businessmen that were interested in importing her product to Canada. Aguinaldo-Dacuycuy must consider their request and evaluate if exporting is right for her cooperative, as well as whether her cooperative could meet the increased demand.
