Description

Fernalyn E. Barahim, a young councilor of Barangay Talisayan in Zamboanga City, Philippines is worried about the tourism industry in her town. The west part of town is plagued with a fishy smell that comes from tuna and sardine factories located there. Advertisement for local resorts is by word of mouth and this issue could adversely impact the industry. She is also concerned with emissions from the local coal-fired power plants many of the factories use to power their operations. She needs solutions. What should she do?
