Description

Marc’s father has entrusted him with the care of the family’s contract growing poultry business. Business was good for the first few years but for the past six growing seasons Marc has not been able to achieve metrics that will allow the business to succeed and grow. One problem is the inconsistent delivery of feed from his supplier who is also experimenting with feed composition resulting in inconsistent sizes of chickens. Another problem is scarce water supply for his farm due to a residential neighborhood being built in the same area. Marc does not want to disappoint his father and must find solutions soon. Students are asked to identify Marc’s major supply chain issues.
