Octavio Caunedo is pursuing a PhD in Strategic Management at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Sport Management degrees at Rice University. Octavio aims to understand how organizations interact with their environments to shape outcomes, sustain competitive advantages and create value. As a Fulbright, Erasmus Mundus, and British Council scholar, Octavio has studied in seven countries and contributed to sectors ranging from social entrepreneurship to the sports industry. Before joining Rice, he worked at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris.
