Juan Florin. Dr Florin is Adjunct Professor of Management at the U. of New Hampshire, Paul College of Business and Economics. He holds a BA in Economics, an MBA from the University of Illinois, and a PhD in Business from the University of Connecticut. His publications in Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Human Relations, Journal of Management Education, Strategic Change, Multinational Business Review, and Venture Capital focus on startups, high growth technology ventures, new venture finance, IPOs, founder performance, alliance strategy, and international business. His teaching experience spans 15 years and focuses on Entrepreneurship, Technology Strategy and Global Strategy at the Masters and Executive levels, in leading institutions both in the USA and Europe. Prior to starting his academic career, Dr Florin had 15 years of international business and corporate entrepreneurship experience in consumer and household durable goods. Most recently he started, developed, and sold a hospitality business in Vermont. He is a small businesses development consultant and an angel investor.
