Description

Teodoro J. Gervoso Jr., the owner of Middle East Furniture Manufacturer (MEFM), is a craftsman in furniture, making products to order. His costs are high compared to commercially-produced furniture, but his products are custom and guaranteed.  He wants to get more customers and orders, but as a microenterprise he’s focused on fulfilling current orders with little time to plan for future ones. Students review MEFM’s workforce, sales processes, production system, facilities and equipment to make recommendations for what Gervoso can do to improve his business.
